Hatchery Classes Fall 2017

How to Start or Grow a Business - A Free Course

The Popular Hatchery Class Returns to Rockland and Comes to Brunswick for the First Time

The Hatchery, MaineStream’s free classes for beginning and growing entrepreneurs, will offered at two locations this fall, at the MaineStream Rockland office and at TechPlace Brunswick. This will be the first time the Hatchery has been offered in Brunswick.

These seven seminars take the mystery out of starting a new business or growing an existing one. They address the questions you need to ask before you start, and look at what you need to do as your business grows. Attending these classes will help provide answers and suggest many useful resources.
The series will examine your value proposition, how to create a business plan, get stared with marketing and sales, address legal and regulatory issues, and how to create a team. Speakers will include entrepreneurs who will share their experience and specialists who understand the numbers, laws, issues, marketing, sales, and regulations.

The Hatchery classes will be presented every week at TechPlace in Brunswick on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 6:30 PM, starting on September 26 and running until November 7,  2017. The Rockland classes will start on Thursday, September 28 from 6 to 7:30 PM, and will run until November 9.

TechPlace is at 74 Orion Street in Brunswick. The MaineStream office is at 315 Main Street in Rockland.

The series will be anchored by Ken Greenleaf, business advisor at MaineStream Finance.    This class series is free and open to anyone, but space is limited so we ask you to register by going to Register Rockland or Register Brunswick.

It would help a lot if you download the class material ahead of time.
